This is the perfect combination of countries to visit in South America, from the unforgettable Rio, passing through the amazing Iguazu Waterfalls, staying at the most european city in the continent, Buenos Aires and finalizing at Santiago de Chile, the most modern capital. Described as the sexiest people on earth, Brazilians are seduced by the sounds of their music and the lure of the beach.. One day you’re on a boat rushing towards spectacular waterfalls through subtropical rainforest as electric blue butterflies flutter through the spray. In the mountains around Bariloche are lakes of navy, peppermint green and palest blue, surrounded by ancient rainforest. Santiago, Chile’s sophisticated capital, nestles alongside the Andes: a frenetic collision of skyscrapers, noise and nightlife that is home to some of South America’s most experimental modern artists. The nearby port city of Valparaíso was described by Brian Keenan as a ‘Venice waiting to be discovered’, with warrens of streets and brightly painted houses.
